Craniosacral therapy for emotional wellbeing
Get in touchThe body keeps a record of what we've been through. Grief, loss, burnout, unresolved stress: these can show up as tension, constriction, or a quiet, persistent weight.
Craniosacral therapy offers something talking therapies sometimes can't: a way of working directly with the body. You don't need to describe or revisit anything. A light, listening touch meets your system where it is and supports it in letting go of what it's ready to release.
How BCST can help
A safe place to process
The slow, non-invasive nature of the work creates enough safety for the body to process what it's holding at its own pace. Nothing is pushed.
Letting go of what the body holds
Feelings often show up as tightness in the chest, throat, belly, or shoulders. Those places start to soften and open.
Settling the nervous system
When emotion overwhelms us, the nervous system stays switched on. In a quiet setting with a light touch, the body can shift into deep rest and find ground again.
Alongside talking therapy
Many people find BCST a useful companion to counselling or psychotherapy. Working with the body alongside the mind can open up more lasting change.
What to expect
Sessions are quiet and unhurried. You stay fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table while I place my hands lightly on different parts of your body. There is no manipulation, no cracking, no deep pressure. Many people are surprised by how much can move through such gentle contact.
Whatever comes up during a session is welcome: stillness, warmth, emotion, or just rest. There is no expectation to share or explain anything. The work meets you exactly where you are.
