Craniosacral therapy for back and neck pain

Get in touch

Back and neck pain are common and often exhausting. The cause might be an old injury, daily posture, stress, or some combination that's built up quietly over years. When the body holds tension long enough, it starts to feel like the way things are.

Many people coming to BCST have already tried the obvious routes. The work meets pain from a different angle. Rather than pushing at the tension, it gives the body space to reorganise and settle.

How BCST can help

Releasing tension patterns

Pain often sits inside layers of protective holding. Those layers soften from the inside, rather than being forced from outside.

Supporting structural balance

When one part of the body is restricted, the rest compensates. The work engages the whole system, not just the site of pain, so balance can come back across the body.

Calming the pain response

Chronic pain lives in the nervous system as much as in the tissues. As the nervous system settles, pain can ease.

Making room to heal

Deep rest improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and gives tissue the conditions it needs to repair. None of it can happen in a body stuck on high alert.

What to expect

Sessions are quiet and unhurried. You stay fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table while I place my hands lightly on different parts of your body. There is no manipulation, no cracking, no deep pressure. Many people are surprised by how much can move through such gentle contact.

Sessions are shaped around you. Whether your pain is recent or long-standing, the work meets your body where it is and gives it space to move towards more ease.
