About Gianluca
My story
I came to somatic work through my own experience of disembodiment. For years I lived with cluster headaches, and with the kind of shame carried in the body that many gay men will recognise, settled so deep I couldn't always see it myself.
TRE was the first thing that reached any of it. I stumbled across it and kept practising. Slowly, things began to change: the headaches softened, and I started to feel at home in a body that had always felt borrowed.
I'm a Certified TRE Provider, run workshops through Embody Life, and maintain TRE Guide to make the practice more accessible. I'm also training in humanistic psychotherapy at Homa and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at Body College.
My approach
Healing happens best in a room that feels safe, where someone is paying attention. My job isn't to impose change; it's to meet you where you are and stay with your body while it finds its way.
Every session starts with a short conversation: how you're feeling, what's present for you. The hands-on work follows what your system is ready for. No agenda, no rushing. Just quiet, attentive work.
I work on the understanding that the body holds a record of what we've been through, and that given the right conditions, it knows how to heal. The biodynamic approach listens for the quiet movements running underneath everyday symptoms and follows those, rather than imposing fixes from outside.
Training and credentials
Training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Training at Body College in anatomy, physiology, embryology, and the biodynamic approach to craniosacral work. Student member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA), held to its professional standards and ethics.
Certified TRE Provider
Certified TRE Provider, trained at TRE College. I also maintain TRE Guide, a free resource on the practice.
Training in humanistic psychotherapy
In training at Homa in a humanistic, relational approach. Grounded in the idea that people change through experience and relationship, not just insight.
